Dear Retiree,
As you are likely aware, the global semiconductor chip shortage has affected vehicle production for Stellantis and virtually all automakers. Unfortunately, the shortage is expected to continue for some time.
Due to the constraints on vehicle production, Company Vehicle Operations must defer 2022 Model Year (MY) ordering into 2022.
This situation is being reviewed monthly. Company Vehicle Operations will send a follow-up communication when the system is open for ordering.
What does this mean to you?
Eligible and current Participants in SE Michigan who wish to activate a new or second Retiree Lease vehicle may contact us to inquire about selecting an interim vehicle (subject to limited vehicle availability). For those outside of SE Michigan, please contact us for options.
If you are a current Participant, you will continue leasing your existing lease vehicle(s) until ordering opens and you are able to order a replacement, even if it isn’t until next year.
If you have a high mileage vehicle (30,000+), please contact us by email at cocars@fcagroup.com with your CID, VIN and current mileage – we will add you to a waiting list for when a replacement vehicle may become available.
